Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Your account

You need an account to publish a page. You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your sign-in secure.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant us the licence needed to host and display it on Recently.

3. Acceptable use

No illegal content, malware, spam, impersonation, harassment, or content that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Usernames

Usernames are allocated first-come, first-served. We reserve some names, and may reclaim usernames used to impersonate people or brands.

5. Advertising

Recently is free to use and funded by advertising. We may display ads on public profile and post pages.

6. Availability

The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime. Keep your own copy of anything important.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Recently after a change means you accept the new terms.
